For nearly three years, we’ve been working towards an incredible project that will bring history to life through art. And now, it’s finally happening – the Dukesfield Murals are set to transform Runcorn’s landscape with stunning large-scale artwork, telling the stories of this unique part of town.

What is the Dukesfield Murals Project?
The Dukesfield Murals are part of a wider vision to bring creativity and vibrancy to Runcorn. Over two weeks, artists Liam Bononi and Aylo Nomad will create four murals, each inspired by the rich history of Dukesfield and its surrounding areas.
This project has been made possible through funding from Reconnecting Runcorn, as part of the High Street Connectivity strand of work. Reconnecting Runcorn is an ambitious programme aimed at improving the lives and livelihoods of local people while boosting the local economy. Find out more about it here: https://reconnectingruncorn.info.
