Summary of the 'Draw on Halton' creative challenge started - with the Fourteenth prompt being "Church and Temple"
Black and white photograph of a group of eight male bell ringers. The men are stood posed with the church bell ropes, while also holding hand bells. The group includes Mr George Tandy, who can possibly be identified as the man stood third from the left. Mr Tandy was Head Gardener at Norton Priory from 1880 to 1895.
Black and white photograph of Trinity Methodist Church on the corner of Peelhouse Lane and Albert Road. The dedication service for the church was held on the 14th February 1905, and the church was eventually demolished in 1984 because of severe dry rot in the roof.
